8 DAYS PRIMATES TOUR UGANDA /RWANDA

Day 1: Arrival In Kigali

Upon arrival at Kigali international airport, our Charleston Travel Rwanda representative outside customs and immigration hall will meet you. He will then introduce you to your driver guides who will transfer you to your hotel in Kigali. On arrival at the hotel you will check in followed by late dinner.

DAY 2: -Transfer to Bwindi National park/Uganda

Today you will have breakfast and proceed to Bwindi national park in Uganda. On arrival you will check in at your lodge for lunch and afternoon visit the Batwa community. You will have dinner and overnight at your lodge.

DAY 3: - Gorilla Trekking /Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Early in the morning at 06:00 am you will have breakfast and then hike to the park headquarters, which are a few meter from your lodge for a briefing by the park ranger on how you need to conduct yourself before the gorillas. At 8.30am begin hiking along well established trails in the forest. Gorilla tracking is a strenuous exercise but joy you experience after encountering the gorillas is overwhelming. The time taken to encounter these apes ranges from an hour to several hours depending on their movement in the jungle. You will return to your lodge for a late lunch and afternoon relaxation.

DAY 4: - Transfer Back To Rwanda /Gisenyi

This morning after your breakfast transfer back volcanoes national park/Gisenyi. On arrival you will check in at your hotel for lunch. This evening you will relax at your hotel followed by dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: - Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

Today at 06:00am you will have breakfast and transfer Nyungwe forest national park. You will have a lunch stopover in Kibuye, after lunch you will proceed to check Nyungwe and on arrival you will check in followed by dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: - Chimpanzee Tracking/Canopy walk  

Starting very early in the morning, chimps are tracked in groups of eight, you will have just one hour in their company once they’ve been located. Sightings aren’t as reliable or as clear as gorillas however, since they often remain in dense forest, but their engaging playfulness and human-like characteristics make the long day worthwhile. Return to the lodge for late breakfast. After lunch you will transfer to Uwinka RDB park offices for canopy walk. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 7: - Transfer  To Kigali /Visit Nyanza King’s Palace

Today after breakfast, you will transfer back to Kigali and on the way you will visit Nyanza king’s palace. Nyanza district in the Southern Province of Rwanda Nyanza was the headquarters of the ancient Rwanda Kingdom before the arrival of the Europeans.  The compound has the modern palace constructed by King Mutara in 1934.  Next to it is the reconstructed Kings Hut as it was on the arrival of the Europeans.  It is tastefully decorated with the traditional mats and gear.
On arrival in Kigali you will check in at your hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 8: - Departure

This morning you will have breakfast, and then proceed on souvenir shopping before transferring to the airport for your departure flight.
